Virtual Sales Assistance
Catherine Schooling started Virtual Sales Assistance in 2003.  After a few years of learning and perfecting the speciality, Marnie Schooling joined in 2007 and now Virtual Sales Assistance is a family team effort.  We both work together yet we have our own speciality and expertise.   We both love what we do and more importantly we love working with our clients and seeing results.

I became a Virtual Assistant after years of doing things I liked but not loved.  As a Virtual Assistant, I am able to combine all of my career passions into one business.  I love what I do and I'm committed to providing the best service I can.   I have continued my education as I find classes that will satisfy my client's business needs.  I am certified with eProspecting, Imprev and I've attended company training by Top Producer   In 2006, I received a Web Design Certification from California State University San Marcos.  Early in my career, I was very fortunate to work with a large company that's primary goal was Customer Satisfaction.  I learned so much about Customer Service and going the extra mile.  Today, I've incorporated these valuable lessons into my daily work ethic. 

I am a graduate of San Diego State University with a Bachelors Degree in Psychology. I have years of experience in both profit and non-profit businesses. I have specialized in several areas of business including Customer Service, Marketing and Sales.  I've been a Virtual Assistant since 2003.  Since 2003, I've supported some of the top producing Real Estate agents in the United States.  

Personally, I am married and we have two children.  We have a few animals...well, if you ask my husband we have too many animals.  We have Dalmatians, cats and horses.  I grew up riding horses and now I am thrilled that my kids get to grow up with horses.  I love riding and working with our horses and a nice quiet trail ride is a perfect day.  My daughter has the horse love bug.  She happily tells everyone that she loves horses.  My son doesn't have a love for the horses like my daughter but he does have a best friend with one of our dogs.  They are two peas in a pod and a model for why every boy needs a dog.

Thank you for looking over our site.  I decided to work with Catherine after hearing her talk about how much she enjoys her career.  As Catherine’s sister-in-law I have heard her talk about being a VA since she first started out.  Every so often she would ask me to help her because she knew I was not happy in my career.  Eventually, I said yes and now I am as happy and excited as she is. 

I received my Bachelors’ of Science degree from San Diego State University.  I put myself through school while working as a checker at a grocery store and being in the Army Reserves.  While in the reserves I was called to active duty to spend some time in Sarajevo, Bosnia.  Bosnia is a beautiful county and one day I hope to go back and visit. 

After graduating, I worked in the Quality Assurance department of a big company.  As a checker, I did have a good background in customer service but working in the QA department taught more.  I monitored sales associates to assure that they where helpful, friendly and following guidelines.  I learned the value of customer service while listening to experienced sales men and women.  No not telemarketers, people selling an honest product. 

My hobbies or my favorite thing to do is run.  To date, I have completed 3 marathons, I have done ½ marathons and 10Ks.  I enjoying running with my friends and feeling the fresh air on my skin.  Because running takes so much energy, I would have to say eating is another hobby of mine.  Although I do not eat as much food when I train for a 10k verses a marathon, food is big part my life.  One of the best things I have learned being a runner and from my fellow running buddies is; the more you run the more sweets you can eat.  I wish I was always marathon training.  I also have a cute white fluffy dog with a big personality.  Running is not her thing but we still get along.

We support various charities and we would like to promote the charities we love to assist.  Assisting animals is really a life long passion.  An animal with a sad story usually ends up with finding their forever home with us.  So, in spirit of that I would like to ask you to take a minute or two and help homeless animals.  Just going to Animal Rescue Site (Non-Profit Agency from the founders of PetFinders.com) website and clicking on a button can help feed animals.  It only takes a minute of your time and a homeless animal with get some food from the sponsors of the program.  Please help the animals.
